Designed for College and University campuses: Campus administration, faculty, and staff will understand the challenges and realities of undocumented student lives and contemporary interventions to connect with undocumented students and their families. The goal is to engender a culture of trust in schools.

Participants will receive an UndocuAdvocate Certificate of Completion and an UndocuAdvocate Sticker to help undocumented students and families identify trusted campus personnel who have undergone this training.
Customizable:
Designed for a general audience so that anyone in your campus can learn how to be a better advocate for Undocumented Families. This training can also be customized for more focused audiences like faculty/teachers.
An honest, UndocuCulture-Centered presentation with immigrant families to address common fears, misconceptions, and unheard needs. Immigrant families will also learn some key responsibilities they can take on to ensure a successful transition to college for their students. This workshop helps contextualize what college is, what it can do for families, and the challenges that need family support.

- FERPA and other protections they can depend on
- Resources in college for undocumented students
Tackles the primary retention obstacles for undocumented students entering college. This technical training covers how to correctly matriculate undocumented students during community college registration (CCCApply).
Learning Outcomes Include
- Common pitfalls that lead to undocumented students dropping out
- Creating immigrant friendly offices
- How to recognize an undocumented status
- How to speak to a student about their status with compassion
- Creating a relationship with Undocu-Centers
Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion to help undocumented students and familes identify trusted high school counselors who have undergone this training.
Designed for High School campuses: Campus administration, faculty, and staff will understand the challenges and realities of undocumented student lives and contemporary interventions to connect with undocumented students and their families. The goal is to engender a culture of trust in schools.
Learning Outcomes Include
- Connecting with local Dream Resource Liaisons
- Compliance with AB-699 and the guidelines set forth by Attorney General Becerra to protect undocumented students in K-12 schools
- Selling college to undocumented students and their families
- Resources and opportunities extended to undocumented Californians who enroll in college
- Culturo-Institutional strategies to implement in the classroom, in the office, and campus-wide to engender trust with this community
